The body of young Tamer Al-Zgharneh, who was swept away by floods in the Negev, has been found
SadaNews - This morning, Tuesday, the body of young Tamer Nader Sarhan Al-Zgharneh from the village of Ramadin was found, who was swept away by floods in "Wadi Meitar" in the Negev region, following a wave of heavy rains that hit wide areas of the country in the past hours on Monday.
A number of rescue teams, medical teams, and police forces, along with a large number of Arab volunteers, were present at the site where Al-Zgharneh's body was retrieved.
Local sources reported that after the rescue teams announced the cessation of search operations around ten o'clock at night, a number of volunteers gathered and continued the search until late at night. The body of the missing person was found this morning, and emergency teams were summoned to the location near Beersheba.
The spokesperson for the "Fire and Rescue Authority" stated that "the fire and rescue teams managed to find the person who had been missing in the Beersheba area due to the rains."
Medical teams reported that an alert was received on the emergency line 101 of Magen David Adom in the Negev area, informing of a young man found unconscious near Beersheba. Magen David Adom paramedics indicated that the young man is about 20 years old and shows no signs of life, and they pronounced him dead.
A state of sadness and mourning prevailed in the Negev area, especially among the young man's peers, after the discovery of his body and the declaration of his death.
