Signing of a Cooperation Memorandum between the Palestinian Journalists' Syndicate and the Slovak Journalists' Syndicate
SadaNews - The Embassy of the State of Palestine in the Slovak Republic organized an important meeting this Thursday evening between the Palestinian Journalists' Syndicate and the Slovak Journalists' Syndicate, attended by a number of journalists and media professionals interested in Palestinian affairs.
During the meeting, a memorandum of joint cooperation was signed, aimed at enhancing media communication and exchanging expertise between the two parties.
In her speech, Ambassador of the State of Palestine, Safaa Khalidi, provided a detailed explanation regarding the conditions of journalists in Palestine, highlighting their human stories, pains, and daily challenges while covering events, emphasizing that the Palestinian journalist faces significant dangers in order to convey the truth to the world.
Palestinian Journalists' Syndicate President Dr. Nasser Abu Bakr spoke about the sacrifices made by journalists, pointing to the martyrdom of several journalists while performing their professional duty and the injuries of dozens, reflecting the extent of their exposure to violence and violations during their field work.
Both the ambassador and the president answered all questions directed by Slovak journalists. The Palestinian president also held a meeting with the Slovak national television.
Representatives of the Slovak Journalists' Syndicate expressed their solidarity with the Palestinian journalistic community and their readiness to activate joint training and cooperation programs.
This memorandum comes as part of the embassy's efforts to enhance media cooperation between Palestine and Slovakia, contributing to support for Palestinian media work and highlighting the truth on the international stage.
