Sheikh Meets Tunisian Ambassador to Palestine and Discusses Developments in Gaza and the West Bank
SadaNews - Today, Sunday, the Vice President of the State of Palestine, Mr. Hussein Sheikh, met with the Tunisian Ambassador to Palestine, Mr. Habib Ben Farah.
The two sides discussed the latest political developments on the Palestinian scene, including the situation in the Gaza Strip and the catastrophic humanitarian conditions, as well as the ongoing challenges faced by the Palestinian people in the West Bank amid the escalation and policies of occupation.
Sheikh emphasized the important role of the Arab states in supporting reconstruction efforts and enhancing the steadfastness of the people in Gaza. He reiterated the significance of geographical unity between the Gaza Strip and the West Bank and the necessity to stop the Israeli violations and unilateral measures.
The Vice President of the State of Palestine stressed the Palestinian leadership's appreciation for Tunisia's consistent and supportive position on the rights of the Palestinian people, as well as Tunisia's historical contributions to supporting the Palestinian cause.
For his part, the Tunisian Ambassador Habib Ben Farah reiterated his country's constant support for Palestine and its commitment to all efforts aimed at achieving just peace, ending the suffering of the Palestinian people, and enabling them to obtain their legitimate rights.
