The statement published by U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff on the platform 'X' mentioned that 'both sides agreed that real progress toward any agreement hinges on Russia's willingness to demonstrate a serious commitment to lasting peace, including taking steps toward de-escalation and halting killings.'
