
Palestinian Prime Minister Discusses with European Peace Envoy Intensifying Work and Engaging in Post-War Arrangements
SadaNews - Palestinian Prime Minister Dr. Mohammad Mustafa discussed with the European Union's representative for the Middle East peace process, Christophe Bigot, the intensification of joint work and greater engagement in the arrangements for the upcoming phase following the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
During the meeting held today, Sunday, in the Prime Minister's office in Ramallah, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of international support for the State of Palestine's efforts to unify institutions between the West Bank and Gaza Strip to complete the process of establishing a Palestinian state on the ground, in addition to pressing Israel to release the withheld Palestinian funds and stop the violations in the West Bank, including Jerusalem.
For his part, Bigot affirmed the European Union's support for relief, recovery, and reconstruction efforts in the Gaza Strip, the resumption of operations at the Rafah crossing, as well as the government's efforts in institutional reform and development.
