Minister of Interior and UNDP Representative Discuss Joint Cooperation
SadaNews - The Minister of Interior, Major General Ziad Habbal-Raih, discussed with the UNDP representative in Palestine, Jaco Silliers, and the accompanying delegation, ways to cooperate on a number of mutually relevant files.
The meeting, held in Ramallah on Wednesday, discussed several topics related to the programs offered by the UNDP Office in Palestine and the Ministry of Interior in particular, as well as mechanisms to enhance cooperation and the areas of support required during the current exceptional period and the next phase.
The minister also briefed the guest on the latest developments and the current exceptional situation in the Palestinian territories, emphasizing the need for the international community to exert more efforts to stop the war in Gaza and facilitate the entry of humanitarian aid.
For his part, Jaco Silliers confirmed the continued support provided by the UNDP and the initiatives it endorses to assist the Palestinian people, especially in developing work systems and digital transformation, and expressed their readiness to provide any possible assistance in various fields.
