Elderly Man Dies in Hit-and-Run Accident in Haifa
SadaNews - A 63-year-old man was killed this morning, Tuesday, after being hit by a vehicle on Route 75 in the Haifa area, northern Israel.
The occupation police claimed that they opened a file to investigate the circumstances of the incident.

Data and statistics published today by the National Road Safety Authority indicate that 309 people, including 94 citizens from the Arab community, have died in road accidents on various roads since the beginning of the current year, 2025, up to today.
In comparison, 437 people, including 162 Arab citizens, died in road accidents on different roads during the last year, 2024. Additionally, 356 people, including 98 Arab citizens, lost their lives in road accidents on various roads in the country in the year 2023.
Furthermore, 352 people died in road accidents in the year 2022, 369 people in road accidents in 2021, 306 in 2020, and 355 victims in 2019. In 2022, 115 Arab citizens lost their lives in road accidents, in 2021, 109 Arab citizens died, 99 victims in 2020, and 110 victims in 2019.
