Serious Injury in Shooting Incident in Wadi Ara

SadaNews - Violent crimes continue to plague the Arab community, as a young man in his twenties sustained serious injuries on Sunday morning due to a shooting incident near Bartaa in the Wadi Ara area.

Medical teams reported that they received a notification about a violent incident on Highway 65 near the Bartaa junction, where the medical team provided first aid to the injured person before transporting him to Hillel Yaffe Hospital in Hadera, suffering from a life-threatening injury.

The occupying police claimed to have opened an investigation into the circumstances of the shooting without announcing any arrests and suggested that the background might be criminal.

This incident comes just hours after three other individuals were injured, with the condition of two of them described as serious, in shooting incidents that occurred in the towns of Rahat, Jisr al-Zarqa, and Shfar-Am.

Since the beginning of the year, the number of murder victims in the Arab community has reached 161, including 16 women, with 138 of the victims killed by gunfire. Out of these, 82 were under thirty years old, including 3 who were killed before reaching the age of 18, while 9 were shot by police officers.
