Young Woman Killed in Shooting Incident in Jisr al-Zarqa

SadaNews - A young woman, Rozit Massad Jarban (23 years old), was killed as a result of a shooting incident in the town of Jisr al-Zarqa, while two young men sustained serious injuries in a separate shooting that occurred in the city of Akko late Saturday - Sunday.

 

Medical teams reported that they performed resuscitation operations on the injured woman, who suffered from a gunshot wound and was described as being in critical condition.

They added, "The injured woman was on the street, unconscious, without pulse or breath, suffering from an injury to her body, and we immediately provided her with medical treatment that included stopping the bleeding and resuscitation operations."

The injured woman was immediately transported to "Hillel Yaffe" Hospital in Hadera for treatment, however, her death was declared there after efforts to save her life failed.

The police have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the crime and announced the arrest of a suspect involved in it.

In the city of Akko, two young men in their forties suffered serious injuries as a result of a shooting incident.

A medical team from "Magen David Adom" provided initial treatments to the injured, as one of them was unconscious and his condition was described as unstable. Both were transferred to the Galilee Medical Center (Western Galilee Hospital) in Nahariya for further treatment.

According to the medical team, "One of the injured was unconscious, and both suffered from serious injuries that penetrated their bodies. We provided them with life-saving initial treatments that included stopping the bleeding and ventilation for the unconscious person, and then we transported them to the hospital in critical condition."

According to the police, the two young men were shot as a result of gunfire directed at a building, and it pointed to a criminal background without reporting the arrest of any suspects.
