
Young man killed in Ramla.. 149 Arab fatalities since the beginning of the year
SadaNews - A young man was killed as a result of gunfire in a crime committed in the city of Ramla, this Wednesday evening, raising the toll of Arab fatalities to 149 since the beginning of this year.
Local sources reported that the victim of the murder in Ramla is the young man Muhammad Shomali, who is in his twenties, and he was killed while he was at a gas station.
A medical crew said they received a report "about a young man injured in an incident of violence on 'Moshe Adret' street in Ramla", adding that "his paramedics provided the necessary medical treatment and referred him to 'Shamir-Asaf Harofeh' hospital", where he was later pronounced dead after attempts to save his life failed.
The statement indicated that "a young man in his twenties approximately, was in critical condition due to stab wounds" that had pierced his body.

This comes amid a rise in crime in the Arab community, coupled with the Israeli police's negligence, which reaches the point of complicity with criminal organizations, and the absence of government plans to combat crime.
With this crime, the toll of murder victims in the Arab community has risen to 149, including 13 women and a young man from Jerusalem.
It was revealed that 127 of the victims were killed by gunfire, 73 of whom were under the age of thirty, including 3 who were killed before reaching the age of 18, while 9 were killed by police.
This year has also recorded an estimated 13% increase in the number of violence victims compared to the same period last year, when the number of victims was 132.
The year 2024 recorded 221 killings in the Arab community, compared to 222 murders registered in 2023.
