Follow-up Committee: The serious assault on Deputy Ayman Odeh has dangerous implications for all our people

SadaNews - The Higher Follow-up Committee for Arab Citizens has held the Israeli government, its ruling coalition, and the opposition parties, responsible for the "serious assault on Deputy Ayman Odeh in the city of Ness Ziona, yesterday, Saturday. This incident occurred especially after their recent involvement in the uncontrolled campaign of incitement against Deputy Odeh during discussions regarding his potential expulsion from the Knesset due to his statements against the war on our Palestinian people."

The committee stated that "the racist mobs that lashed out at Deputy Odeh yesterday, as he was heading to deliver a speech at a demonstration against the war in Ness Ziona, felt that they had free rein, driven by the broad authoritarian incitement campaign, as well as the actions of police elements, who stood idly by or moved sluggishly as if to merely appease, yet did nothing to stop the aggression, which Deputy Odeh narrowly escaped."

It added, "This fascist outburst under police protection signifies grave and tangible dangers for our people inside, especially with the spread of these fascist gangs throughout the country, armed with Ben Gvir’s police.
