
Lawyer Muayid Haib Wins Local Council Presidency in Tubas al-Zanghariyya
SadaNews - Lawyer Muayid Haib won the presidency of the local council in the village of Tubas al-Zanghariyya in the Galilee region, northern Israel, in the special elections for the local authority that were held yesterday, Tuesday, in a calm atmosphere with widespread participation from the residents.
Competing for the presidency of the local council in Tubas al-Zanghariyya were Muayid Haib, Munir Haib, and Amir Haib.
According to available information, Muayid Haib received 1,908 votes, accounting for 69.92%, while candidate Amir Haib received 572 votes, representing 20.96%, and candidate Munir Haib received 249 votes, or 9.12%.
Haib is expected to take on his duties as the local council president in the next few days, with a busy agenda ahead focused on developing infrastructure, education, youth, and other areas.
