
Painful Accident in Haifa.. Two Injured in Electric Bicycle Collision
SadaNews - A young man was seriously injured and a young woman sustained moderate injuries in a traffic accident that occurred while they were riding an electric bicycle in the city of Haifa this morning, Thursday.
The spokesperson for the "Rescue Union (Ehud Hatzala)" in the northern region reported that "medical teams provided first aid to the electric bicycle rider (approximately 35 years old) who was seriously injured in an accident on Ibn Gvirol Street in Haifa."
The paramedics stated that "after providing first aid to the bicycle rider at the scene of the accident, he was transported to Rambam Medical Center, and his health condition at this stage is serious but stable."
The spokesperson for the "Magen David Adom" reported that "a call was received at the 101 information center at 06:56 AM this Thursday regarding the injury of an electric bicycle rider and a young woman while riding an electric bicycle in the city of Haifa."
He added that "the medical teams headed to the scene of the accident and began providing initial treatments to a young man (35 years old) who was unconscious and seriously injured, suffering from a head injury, and a young woman (34 years old) in moderate condition, conscious but suffering from head and limb injuries. They were then transported to Rambam Hospital in the city for continued treatment."
The police have opened an investigation into the circumstances of the accident.
