Palestinian National Council: Gaza is Being Annihilated... and Death Has Become the Only Mandatory Passage

SadaNews - The President of the Palestinian National Council, Rouhi Fattouh, stated that what Gaza is experiencing represents a new chapter of genocide against the Palestinian people, under a horrific international moral failure and a scale of justice dominated by racism and the language of power.

He added, "In Gaza, everything signals death, and death has indeed become the only available path, needing no permission to pass. Missiles fall from the sky, and famine wreaks havoc on the ground, while traps are set for the hungry in the name of humanitarian aid, which has turned into a deadly bait to catch the souls of starving civilians, in a scene that reflects the lust for killing and the genes of savagery that govern the behavior of the occupation. "

Fattouh described what is happening in Gaza as the largest massacre and crime against humanity of the 21st century, affirming that hospitals in the Strip – the last bastions of life – are announcing their complete collapse. He said:

"Dialysis services in all hospitals in the Strip have ceased due to fuel shortages, and intensive care is limited to a few hours. Patients are left to die because the world has chosen to close its eyes."

Fattouh pointed out that the occupation is practicing a policy of "deliberate drip-feeding" of fuel, in an attempt to gradually suffocate the health system until it reaches total collapse, considering this a documented war crime and a crime against humanity under international humanitarian law and the Geneva Conventions.

He said, "Today we do not only address governments, but we address the global human conscience, we address the peoples, churches, mosques, and believers of all faiths, and all those who have a shred of humanity left. Gaza is suffocating and dying, and no one is extending a helping hand."

Fattouh affirmed that blood banks and vital laboratories are on the verge of total collapse due to the lack of essential supplies, noting that the situation can no longer tolerate statements of condemnation or denunciation, but requires urgent and immediate intervention to save whatever can be saved.

He emphasized that the world is facing a historic turning point, "either the law triumphs, or all humanity collapses in Gaza."

The President of the Palestinian National Council called on the international community, in all its institutions, to assume its responsibilities and take immediate actions that include: providing safe and internationally binding passages for the entry of fuel and medical supplies without any conditions, forming an international commission to investigate the crimes committed against medical staff, health facilities, and civilians, and immediate action from the United Nations, the World Health Organization, and the International Committee of the Red Cross to save what remains of the health system in Gaza.
