In partnership with Palestine Bank.. Jdoor Foundation implements the “Eid is Joy” campaign to bring smiles to children's faces in hospitals in the West Bank and shelters in Gaza

SadaNews Economy - Jdoor Foundation for Health and Social Development, in partnership with Palestine Bank, implemented a humanitarian campaign on the occasion of Eid al-Adha under the slogan: “Eid is Joy... The joy of our children making Eid two Eids.” The campaign targeted children in hospitals in the West Bank and Jerusalem, as well as children in shelters in Gaza, with the aim of bringing joy and happiness to their hearts and alleviating the psychological burdens they face amid difficult health and humanitarian conditions.

The campaign included conducting visits, recreational activities, and psychological support for children during the days of Eid, in addition to distributing gifts, toys, chocolates, and tablets to children, contributing to creating an atmosphere of joy and hope, and assisting children in continuing their education and communicating with the educational process during treatment or displacement.

This initiative comes as part of the community and humanitarian efforts led by Palestine Bank in partnership with Jdoor, aimed at supporting children and enhancing their psychological and social capabilities, especially amid the challenges and exceptional circumstances faced by the Palestinian people.

The General Manager of Palestine Bank, Mahmoud Al-Shawa, confirmed that this campaign reflects the bank's commitment to its social and humanitarian responsibility towards children, especially the sick and affected, noting that "the message of Eid is not complete without bringing joy to the hearts of children and giving them moments of hope and happiness despite the pain and harsh conditions they are going through."

Al-Shawa added that Palestine Bank continues to develop its humanitarian and social initiatives that touch the real needs of people, focusing on supporting the most vulnerable groups, especially children, believing in the importance of enhancing their psychological and social resilience, and instilling values of solidarity and hope in Palestinian society.

For his part, the General Manager of Jdoor Foundation for Health and Social Development, Dr. Umayya Al-Khamash, confirmed that this campaign arises from the institution's belief in children's right to experience the joy of Eid with dignity despite illness or displacement conditions, pointing out that Jdoor continues to provide health, psychological, and social support to children in line with its mission to enhance their right to a decent and safe life.

He also praised the partnership with Palestine Bank, emphasizing the importance of these humanitarian initiatives in alleviating the burdens on children and their families and enhancing their psychological and social resilience during difficult circumstances.
