SadaNews - The Arab Bank has announced its strategic sponsorship of the Palestine Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence Conference, organized by the Palestine Institute for National Security Research under the patronage of President Mahmoud Abbas, with the attendance and participation of the Minister of Digital Economy Dr. Abdul Razzaq Al-Natsha, representing Prime Minister Dr. Mohammed Mustafa, along with several ministers, experts, specialists, and decision-makers in the fields of technology, digital security, and the financial sector.

In his speech during the conference, Dr. Jamal Hourani, Director of the Palestine Area at the Arab Bank, emphasized the importance of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence as fundamental elements for the sustainability of institutions and enhancing the protection of the digital economy, especially with the rapid development of digital services and the increasing reliance on technology across various sectors.

Dr. Hourani pointed out that cybersecurity is no longer an option but an essential necessity for protecting the data and information of stakeholders and the digital infrastructure, and for enhancing trust in banking services, especially with the increasing cybersecurity threats and financial fraud methods. He further clarified that the Arab Bank continues to invest in developing its digital infrastructure and adopting the latest solutions and technologies in the fields of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence according to best practices and international standards, thereby enhancing the ability to provide banking services that are more efficient, flexible, and secure.
