Jerusalem Electricity Strengthens Its Presence Around Jerusalem with the Opening of Anata Office

SadaNews - The Jerusalem District Electricity Company has opened a new office next to the municipality in the town of Anata, north of Jerusalem, in a move aimed at enhancing the level of services provided to citizens and facilitating their access to electricity services, especially amid the difficulties of mobility.

The opening of this office comes in response to the needs of the people of Anata, who previously had to go to other areas to complete their transactions. The office provides multiple services, helping to save citizens time and effort.

This step is part of a comprehensive plan implemented by the Jerusalem District Electricity Company to expand the scope of its services and improve their quality in various areas.

The manager of the Jerusalem District Electricity Company - Jerusalem branch, engineer Akram Shihabi, stated in an interview with "SadaNews": "Given the current situation and the numerous road closures, we strive to reach subscribers and facilitate their access to services more effectively; therefore, we have opened several offices, such as the Dahiyat office, and in Al-Ram, Abu Dis, Al-Eizariya, in addition to an office in the Old City of Jerusalem, and the office in the center of Anata that was opened today."

For his part, the director of the Jerusalem District Electricity Company - Dahiyat and Anata branch, Muhammad Abu Asneina, said: "The Anata office was opened to serve subscribers in the areas of Anata, Shufat camp, Hizma, and Za'im."

He added: "The new office will provide payment and charging services around the clock, with plans to offer other services to subscribers later. Many thanks to the Anata municipality for its great cooperation."

Meanwhile, the Deputy Mayor of Anata, Muhammad Al-Kaswani, confirmed that the opening of this office is an important achievement for the Jerusalem Electricity Company, which is considered a national company representing the Palestinian identity in Jerusalem.

He emphasized the necessity of supporting such Palestinian institutions around Jerusalem, in light of the valuable services they provide to subscribers and their significant contributions to facilitating their lives.
