Video: The General Authority of "Jerusalem Electricity" Holds Its Annual Meeting 2024

SadaNews - The General Authority of the Jerusalem District Electricity Company held its ordinary annual meeting for the financial year ending on 31/12/2024 on Thursday, October 23, 2025, in the city of Jericho, with the presence of Sa'il Alawi representing the Companies Controller, amid an atmosphere of pride in the achievements accomplished by the company on both financial and technical levels during the year 2024.

The meeting witnessed a turnout of 61.13% of the total shares, with the number of shares present in person being 11,994,313 shares and by proxy 5,322,014 shares, bringing the total number of shares present to 17,316,327 shares.

During the session, the administrative and financial reports were presented, and the overall performance of the company and its developmental projects during the past year were discussed, with both reports being approved unanimously.

In his speech during the meeting, the Chairman of the Board, Engineer Hisham Al-Omari, confirmed that the company continued to make significant progress despite financial challenges and difficult circumstances, noting that "the achievements realized in the year 2024 reflect the company's commitment to its message of serving the citizen and maintaining the continuity of electric power in various areas of concession."

For his part, the General Manager, Engineer Muhammad Zidan, pointed out that the company implemented a series of developmental projects in the areas of infrastructure, digital transformation, and renewable energy during the past year, emphasizing that "these projects are part of the company's vision to modernize its services and enhance its operational efficiency in line with the highest technical and administrative standards."

At the end of the meeting, attendees expressed their appreciation for the efforts of the Board of Directors and the executive management, affirming their support for the ongoing development and transparency approach in the work.
