Arab Bank Supports the Establishment of an Advanced Computer Lab at Palestine Technical University - Kadoorie

SadaNews - Recently, Arab Bank signed a cooperation agreement with Palestine Technical University - Kadoorie / Ramallah Branch to equip an advanced computer lab in the Arts Department. This is part of its ongoing efforts to support the education sector and enhance the technical and practical skills of youth. The agreement was signed by Dr. Jamal Hourani, the Regional Director of Arab Bank in Palestine, and Professor Hussein Shenk, the President of Palestine Technical University - Kadoorie.

This cooperation aligns with Arab Bank's strategy concerning sustainability and social responsibility and its continuous pursuit to contribute to the development of education infrastructure and create a distinctive educational and learning environment that keeps pace with technological advancements.

Under this agreement, Arab Bank will support the computer lab in the Arts Department with 30 modern computers with advanced technical specifications. The aim is to enable students to gain practical training and enhance their theoretical and applied skills within an advanced educational environment that meets the labor market requirements and technological developments in creative fields.

Commenting on this support, Dr. Jamal Hourani stated: "This collaboration is an important step towards empowering youth and investing in their capabilities, in addition to contributing to improving the quality of education through enhancing cooperation with academic institutions and providing the latest advanced technologies for students." He added: "Through this cooperation, we aim to support students of Palestine Technical University - Kadoorie and its graduates, equipping them with the skills that ensure their effective participation in the labor market and keeping pace with rapid technological advancements."

For his part, Professor Shenk expressed his gratitude to Arab Bank for this generous support, confirming that the initiative will contribute to enhancing the quality of education and increasing the college's capacity in technical specialties, thus boosting students' academic and professional opportunities.
