The International System as a Collective Contract Between States

The international system - or the regulated system - is formed as a result of the consensus of several countries, especially the major ones; the international system is a "collective contract" among several states, fortified by collective agreements and transnational institutions whose laws supersede national laws. This was evident in the "Peace of Westphalia" in 1648, which ended the Thirty Years' War in Europe and affirmed the principle of state sovereignty and border delineation. Similarly, the Paris Agreement of 1919 after World War I (which resulted in the Treaty of Versailles and established the "League of Nations") and the Yalta Agreement of 1945, which established the bipolar system after World War II.

Accordingly, no single country or leader can establish a new international system, as Washington or the capricious Trump believes, who thinks that through the "World Peace Council" he can create a new international system and international legitimacy that would be based on his authority and impose his will and American laws on the world.

All his ambitions of making "America great" have failed as internal problems in his country grow, and he loses his popularity within America. He has failed to rally the countries of the world around him to build a new international system; instead, he has created animosities with the majority of the world's countries and has even brought ridicule upon himself, losing even his traditional allies. He has also failed to bring "Abrahamic peace" to the Middle East, and his biggest failure, along with his ally Netanyahu, has been in enhancing Israel's status in the world and realizing the myth of "Greater Israel"; the Zionist narrative is declining in the West and even within America, as Israel loses more and more supporters every day, not only among the peoples but also among Western countries.

Trump succeeded in showcasing the military power of the United States against Iran, a third-world, non-nuclear state, joined by Netanyahu who also destroyed southern Lebanon and the Gaza Strip. He has achieved some success in weakening the international system and international legitimacy, but he has not yet succeeded in establishing a new international system; even the "World Peace Council" is threatened with failure and collapse.
