It is said that a man in one of the cities was distinguished by the most despicable characteristics; he was a deceitful rascal, an open thief, and he became notorious for his assaults. He unabashedly committed sins and public indecency, and was referred to as Du'ar. He surrounded himself with prostitutes and was called Ma'wahir. He laid his hands on the properties and lands of others and was labeled as 'Aqrut'. He was malicious, known for his wickedness, and violated sanctities, shedding blood, insulting the pure, and relying on the wicked from other cities. He became the great figure of the area, feared by both the storyteller and the desperate, and loved by both the brutal and the lowly. His body emitted a foul odor and overflowed with garbage. He was reckless in behavior, clumsy in movement, and crooked in speech. His city, whenever people complained about him, threatened others that they would impose severe penalties and expensive blood money on anyone who dared to confront him, along with the confiscation of properties and the extermination and displacement of anyone involved with him. Pride overtook him, leading to tyranny and arrogance, to the point he would wet his pants, prompting his flatterers to say, "The dew rests on the noble generous hand," while people called him Shakak. The hypocrites labeled him as Fawah, while the people referred to him as Abu Dirti.
In the darkness of the night, a man who abhorred injustice emerged, knowing nothing in his life other than isolation and contemplation. He was distressed by the devastation and subjugation to such a petty thing, and he picked up what weapons he had, waiting day and night for that fortified vile thing. However, he found no way in the night, growing weary of waiting for days. Then he contemplated and said to himself: "The blood money for this thing is the protection of children and a portable urinal, and it is both from him and in him. If I am unable to confront it now, perhaps another will succeed, or divine anger might fall upon him for what he deserves, and that is not difficult for the Creator."
