Iraqji: We Did Not Request a Ceasefire, We Are Prepared to Defend Ourselves No Matter How Long It Takes
SadaNews - Iraqji said to "CBS Network": "We did not request a ceasefire, nor did we even ask for negotiations, and we are ready to defend ourselves no matter how long it takes."
He added, "We are open to dialogue with countries that wish for the safe passage of their ships through the Strait of Hormuz."
Iraqji also stated in an interview with Al-Araby Al-Jadeed that Tehran has "many pieces of evidence" that American bases in the Middle East have been used to target Iran.
He added, "We have a lot of this evidence: there are satellite images, and there is electronic monitoring, showing that US bases in this region are being used in attacks against us," saying that missiles were launched from the UAE targeting the Kharg oil island in Iran.
Iraqji said, "This war will end when we are sure that it will not happen again, and that compensations will be paid as well," adding, "We went through this experience last year: Israel attacked, then the United States joined in... They prepared themselves again and attacked us once more."
