A Letter Written in Blood.. Mystery Surrounds the Death of Turkish Influencer Ayşe Gül Eraslan

SadaNews - The death of Turkish fashion designer and influencer Ayşe Gül Eraslan has caused widespread shock in Turkey, after she was found dead inside her apartment in the Kağıthane district of Istanbul at the age of 27. She had gained public recognition through her participation in the famous fashion program "This is My Style".

According to Turkish media, her relatives went to her home in the Ortaköy neighborhood after losing contact with her, but they received no response when they knocked on the door, prompting them to call the police. Upon entering the apartment, security teams found Eraslan motionless, and the medical team confirmed her death, transferring her body to the forensic institute for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

Mysterious Message Before Death

Investigations included examining the last posts Eraslan shared on her social media accounts, where investigators were drawn to a message she posted via the Stories feature on Instagram, alongside a picture of a paper said to have been written in blood.

The message read: "There may be things I couldn't share, things you don't know that I haven't told you. All I know is that I was a very good person and I did not hurt anyone".

The circulation of the picture of the blood-written message sparked widespread controversy and revived the possibility of suicide among the scenarios being investigated, with no definitive official confirmation yet.

Another one of her posts included poignant phrases where she wrote: "Either I am very sensitive or life is really harsh. I have always given people a great value in my life, and I apologize to my parents. In this life, I have not felt either a mother's love or a father's love; I grew up amidst a lot of violence".

Ongoing Investigations and Testimonies from Close Friends

For her part, her close friend Kardelin Toprak commented on social media that the authorities are treating the death as a "suspicious case," confirming that investigations are still ongoing to uncover the circumstances of what happened.

She added that the police found Ayşe Gül deceased in her apartment, along with a message believed to be a suicide note, noting that friends of the deceased are still in shock and have not yet been able to contact her family.
