8 Martyrs in Targeting of Occupation Forces on a Vehicle in the Middle of the Gaza Strip

SadaNews - Medical sources in the Gaza Strip announced on Sunday evening the martyrdom of eight citizens and injuries to others as a result of Israeli occupation planes targeting a vehicle on Salah al-Din Street in the middle of the Gaza Strip.

Local sources stated that the bodies of the eight martyrs have arrived at the refrigerators of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.

It was also reported that the citizen Nabil Bassam Al-Barawi died from wounds he had sustained in an Israeli bombardment that targeted citizens several days ago in the Katiba area west of Gaza City.

Earlier today, medical sources in the Gaza Strip announced that the toll of the Israeli occupation's aggression on the sector has risen to 72,239 martyrs and 171,861 injured since the onset of aggression on October 7, 2023.

The sources clarified that hospitals in the Gaza Strip received 13 martyrs (11 new martyrs and two martyrs who died from their injuries) along with 8 injuries in the past 24 hours.

They noted that the total number of martyrs since the ceasefire on October 11 has risen to 663 martyrs, while the total number of injuries stands at 1,762, in addition to recovering 756 bodies.

They further added that several victims are still under the rubble and in the streets, as emergency and civil defense teams have not been able to reach them up to this moment.
