850 Martyrs and 2105 Injured Since the Start of the Israeli Aggression on Lebanon
SadaNews - 850 people have been martyred and 2105 others injured from March 2 to March 15, as a result of the Israeli aggression on Lebanon, including 107 children, according to the daily report issued by the Emergency Operations Center at the Lebanese Ministry of Health.
The report, released Sunday afternoon, documented 24 martyrs and 96 injuries since midnight last night due to Israeli airstrikes. The data indicated that 107 of the martyrs were children, while the number of injured children reached 331.
The number of martyrs among men was 677, compared to 1415 injured, while 66 female martyrs and 359 injured women were recorded.
The report noted that the assaults also targeted the health sector, as 5 hospitals, 30 ambulances, and 13 medical centers suffered damages, with 46 attacks recorded on the health sector. These assaults resulted in the martyrdom of 32 health workers and the injury of 58 others.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced early Sunday that the toll from three Israeli airstrikes targeting areas in the south had risen to 14 martyrs, including four children, in addition to eight injured, after the airstrikes hit the city of Nabatieh and the towns of Haret Saida and Qatrani. Local media reported that one person was killed due to an Israeli shelling targeting a residential apartment in the Sharhabil area of the city of Sidon.
In ongoing developments, Lebanese sources reported that an Israeli drone carried out a strike targeting the town of Senai in the Nabatieh district in southern Lebanon, while Israeli warplanes launched a series of strikes on the outskirts of the towns of Yahr and Qalia and Zalaiya in the western Bekaa, with no reported injuries, according to the National News Agency.
