Netanyahu's Trip to Washington Postponed for Unknown Reasons

SadaNews - The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu informed the "Times of Israel" that his trip to Washington, which was scheduled to depart at 11 AM local time, has been postponed.

The Israeli Prime Minister's office has not provided a new departure date, nor has it mentioned the reason for the delay, according to the "D. B. A" news agency.

Netanyahu was scheduled to meet with U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House tomorrow, Tuesday, and to attend the funeral ceremony for the late Senator Lindsey Graham.

According to previous reports, Netanyahu was expected to return to Israel next Thursday.

Israeli Channel 13 had previously reported that Netanyahu informed his ministers of his intention to reject the U.S. demand for withdrawals from Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria.

Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reported that during his visit to Washington and his meeting with Trump, Netanyahu will discuss several issues, including Iran, Lebanon, Gaza, the West Bank, Syria, and Turkey.
