Widespread Escalation.. Occupation Demolishes 9 Homes and 2 Facilities in Jerusalem, Ramallah, and Jenin

SadaNews - Today, Monday, the toll of the demolition operations carried out by the Israeli occupation authorities has risen to include 9 homes and 2 facilities in the provinces of Jerusalem, Ramallah, and Jenin, as part of a simultaneous campaign targeting Palestinian properties under various pretexts, the most prominent of which is the lack of building licenses.

In the occupied Jerusalem province, a house in the Al-Bustan neighborhood of Silwan, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, was demolished. In the neighborhood of Jabal Mukaber, southeast of the capital, Israeli forces forced the Rimawi family to self-demolish their three homes to avoid fines, resulting in the displacement of about 10 individuals who lived in these homes, each of which ranges in area from 50 to 70 square meters. Meanwhile, in the Beit Hanina al-Tahta neighborhood north of Jerusalem, a house and a sheep pen were demolished.

In the Ramallah province, operations focused on the town of Ni'lin to the west, where the forces bulldozed three houses and an agricultural facility. The demolition included the home of citizen Waseem Mahmoud Nafe, which is approximately 200 square meters and occupied by his family of five, in addition to two two-story homes, each 200 square meters, belonging to citizens Saddam Nimer Hussein Nafe and Naseem Dar Nafe. The machinery also destroyed a livestock breeding facility that occupies a full dunam and belongs to citizen Munir Manwar Kakhoush.

In the Jenin province, Israeli forces demolished a three-story house belonging to citizen Jihad Mousa in the vicinity of the Arraba station, southwest of the city, accompanied by a heavy military presence and a complete closure of the area's entrances. This operation comes at a time when the Arraba station is witnessing continued escalation, including acts of bulldozing and targeting of commercial and agricultural facilities, causing significant material losses to the local residents and business owners.
