Presidential Doctor: Trump "Is in Excellent Health"

SadaNews - The physician of Donald Trump stated that he enjoys "excellent health," according to a memo issued late Friday to Saturday, after the 79-year-old American president underwent a routine medical examination earlier this week.

Trump's doctor, Captain Sean Barbabella from the U.S. Navy, said: "President Trump remains in excellent health, showing strength in his cardiovascular and respiratory functions, as well as overall physical functions," adding that he is "fully qualified to carry out all duties of the Commander-in-Chief and President of the country."

Dr. Barbabella's report indicated that Trump underwent a CT scan, an echocardiogram, as well as cancer screenings and other preventive assessments conducted by 22 specialists.

After the visit on Tuesday, Trump stated that the test results were "absolutely perfect."

President Trump weighs 108 kilograms, an increase of 6 kilograms from the medical examination he underwent in April 2025. Doctors provided him with guidance on his diet, physical activity, and weight loss, but concluded that "his cognitive and physical performance is excellent."

This medical examination is the third that Trump has undergone since returning to office last year, following increasing speculation about his health, especially after bruises appeared on his hands.

Regarding this, the report explained that "the bruises are consistent with a slight sensitivity in the soft tissues related to frequent handshakes in the context of using aspirin for the prevention of cardiovascular diseases."
