Injuries and Arrests During Widespread Raids in the West Bank

SadaNews - Cities and towns in the West Bank witnessed a wide campaign of incursions and raids carried out by Israeli occupation forces early Sunday morning, which involved sporadic confrontations and the arrest of several Palestinians, along with searches and tampering with the contents of homes after breaking in and subjecting residents to field interrogations.

In Qalqilya, the forces arrested three young men: Aboud Nofal and Jawad Nofal after raiding a commercial store in the Naqar neighborhood, in addition to the arrest of young man Maher Dawood at a flying checkpoint near Nablus, while a child was injured by shrapnel in the foot during the incursion into the city.

In Tubas Governorate, the occupation forces raided the town of Tamoun several times throughout the day, storming a number of homes and arresting the girl Ola Naeem Talab Qutieshat (16 years old) after invading her family's home in the town.

Nablus Governorate also witnessed repeated incursions, including the village of Osrin south of the city, where homes of Palestinians were searched. In Jenin, the forces invaded the village of Bir al-Basha and the towns of Arraba and Raba, amidst raids on homes and commercial shops.

The raids extended to Tulkarm, where the village of Al-Jaroushiya north of the city was invaded, as well as Ramallah through the village of Abu Falah and the Am'ari refugee camp in Al-Bireh, and also Bethlehem in the areas of Doha and around the Dheisheh camp, amidst widespread military deployment and intensive search operations in various regions.
