Worker from Yafa an-Nasra dies after falling from height in Haifa
SadaNews - Hatem Kamal Sarhan (53 years old) died yesterday, Monday, as a result of falling from a height while working at a construction site on "Yehoram Gaon" street in the city of Haifa.
The media department in the Rescue Union reported that "the ambulance crews arrived at the scene and provided first aid to the injured before transferring him to Rambam Hospital in serious condition." He was later pronounced dead at the hospital after efforts to save his life failed.
Paramedics Shiri Israel and Lior Fadida stated that "the worker fell from a height while working and that he was sedated and connected to artificial respiration during his transfer for treatment."
The occupying police claimed that they opened an investigation into the circumstances of the incident and that they notified representatives of the Ministry of Economy (Industry, Trade, and Labor) as required.
