The Latest American Stealth Bomber Can Reach Anywhere in the World.. Discover It
SadaNews - An American weapon flies in the sky that is not easily seen but is capable of reaching anywhere in the world, as the United States tests the B-21 Raider bomber, one of the newest stealth aircraft in the world, designed to evade radars and operate within airspace protected by advanced defense systems.
The B-21 Raider bomber can execute sensitive strikes with high precision over very long distances without interruption, and it can carry both conventional and nuclear weapons at the same time.
The American bomber consumes less fuel than the B-2 Spirit bomber, which gives it a longer flight time and reduces its need for continuous support.
It will also be part of a broader family of systems dedicated to long-range strikes, including intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance capabilities, electronic attack, advanced communications, as well as its ability to carry a variety of long-range munitions and direct attack munitions.
The U.S. Air Force has signed an expanded agreement with Northrop Grumman to increase the production capacity of the new generation strategic stealth bomber "B-21 Raider" by 25%, in a clear effort to expedite the entry of this advanced combat platform into actual service.
This production expansion is based on funding of $4.5 billion that was previously approved under the budget reconciliation legislation for fiscal year 2025, which is informally known in U.S. political circles as the "Great Beautiful Bill".
The first aircraft of this type was delivered on schedule in 2025 and is currently undergoing intensive flight testing, with the stated goal of deploying the operational fleet at Ellsworth Air Force Base in South Dakota by 2027.
Although the additional production capacity raises questions about the possibility of increasing the size of the fleet, U.S. Air Force officials insist that the official goal remains limited to a fleet of at least 100 bombers.
The "B-21" is a cornerstone of the Air Force's plan to modernize its bomber fleet, as it is designed to gradually replace the older "B-1 Lancer" and "B-2 Spirit" aircraft, eventually complementing or replacing the "B-52 Stratofortress" bomber.
A fact sheet issued by the U.S. Air Force confirms that "the B-21 will form the backbone of future bomber forces, designed to operate in a future advanced threats environment, and will play a critical role in ensuring continued American air capability."
