Continuous Invasions of Al-Aqsa and Attacks by Settlers in the West Bank and Jerusalem Resulting in Injuries and Damage

SadaNews - On Tuesday, the provinces of the West Bank and the occupied city of Jerusalem witnessed a series of attacks carried out by settlers targeting Palestinian homes and properties, resulting in material damage and injuries among Palestinians.

In Salfit province, more than 100 settlers stormed the town of Kifl Haris, randomly throwing stones at Palestinian homes, which led to the shattering of windows in several homes and caused panic among the residents.

The assaults also targeted parked vehicles, where the windows of several were smashed and their tires damaged before they withdrew from the town.

In Nablus, two young men sustained bruises and injuries after being beaten by a group of settlers in the area of Mount Sbeih in the town of Beita, alongside incursions into several villages, including Burqa, Duma, and Qabalan, which included vandalism of shop contents.

In East Jerusalem, groups of settlers attacked the village of Khan al-Ahmar east of the city, carrying out provocative assaults and pursuing locals, which caused anxiety and fear in the Bedouin community threatened with eviction.

In Hebron, settlers seized a cave and a house in Khirbat Al-Fakhit in Masafer Yatta, south of the city, and brought herds of livestock and camels onto Palestinian lands, in a move aimed at imposing new settlement realities and pressuring residents to force them to leave.

These assaults occur under the direct protection of occupation forces, which have tightened their military measures and closed the entrances to several villages and towns in the area.

Sheikh Al-Aqsa Mosque Stormed by Settlers Amidst Tight Protection and Restrictions on Worshippers

Dozens of extremist settlers stormed the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque this morning, Tuesday, from the direction of the Maghariba Gate, under tight protection from Israeli occupation forces.

The Islamic Waqf Department in Jerusalem reported that settlers carried out provocative tours inside the mosque courtyards and performed Talmudic rituals in the eastern area, amidst heavy security presence.

In the same context, the occupation police imposed strict restrictions on the entry of Palestinian worshippers to the mosque, detaining the IDs of several at the outer gates, which hindered their entrance to the mosque.

These developments come amidst the ongoing daily incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque, except on Fridays and Saturdays, where its courtyards are subjected to a series of violations by settlers and occupation forces, amidst attempts to impose new realities inside the mosque and change the status quo.
