Erdogan condemns attack on Israeli consulate, describes it as "treacherous"
SadaNews - Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan condemned on Tuesday the attack that targeted the Israeli consulate in the "Yabi Cred Plaza" complex in the Besiktas district of Istanbul.
Erdogan described the attack as "treacherous," expressing his strong condemnation of it, as reported by the Anadolu Agency.
He stated: "We strongly condemn the treacherous attack in the Besiktas area, which was thwarted thanks to the intervention of our heroic security forces."
He affirmed that Turkey will continue its struggle against all forms of terrorism and will not allow "despicable and timed" provocations to harm the security climate in Turkey.
