Land Authority Announces Suspension of 18 Land Settlement Pools for Objection in Six Governorates
SadaNews - The Land Authority announced the suspension of 18 land settlement pools for objection in several governorates of the West Bank, as part of ongoing land settlement activities and in accordance with the established legal procedures.
The Land Authority clarified that the suspended pools include the governorates of Salfit, Hebron, Ramallah and Al-Bireh, Nablus, Qalqilya, and Tulkarem, with a total area of 3,829 dunams, comprising a total of 1,470 land parcels. This is aimed at allowing citizens to review the rights tables and to amend them according to legal procedures.
Minister of Land Authority, Alaa Al-Tamimi, confirmed that the suspension of land settlement pools for objection is a key phase in the course of land settlement work, as it provides a legal opportunity for citizens to verify ownership data and submit objections within the specified deadlines, contributing to the protection of rights and enhancing transparency. He pointed out that the settlement teams continue their work in the field despite the difficult circumstances and existing challenges, and in light of Israeli decisions and measures targeting Palestinian land, reflecting the institution's determination to complete the national land settlement project and protect citizens' rights.
Al-Tamimi urged citizens to follow the official announcements issued by the Land Authority and to visit the relevant settlement offices in the included governorates to review the details of the rights tables and the specified objection periods.
