SadaNews - Israeli occupation forces launched a wide campaign of incursions in various areas of the West Bank during the dawn and morning hours of Thursday, which included raiding houses, searching them, detaining their occupants, and subjecting them to field interrogations, alongside the arrest of dozens of Palestinians, including minors and two women. At the same time, attacks by settlers against Palestinian towns have escalated.

In the al-Aroub camp, north of Hebron, the Prisoners' Club reported the arrest of the minor Majdi Wael al-Badawi, while two women were arrested during the raid on the town of al-Dhahiriya, south of Hebron.

In Nablus Governorate, occupation forces raided the town of Zeita Jamma'in in the south of the governorate and arrested four citizens: Fathi Al-Haik, Dharar Jamous, Aboud Al-Saleem, and Mousa Al-Asrawi.

In Jenin Governorate, occupation forces arrested the young man Hassan Abu Hammad after raiding his home in the village of Faqou'a, east of the city, and in Tulkarm Governorate, a young man was arrested after a raid on the southern neighborhood of the city.

109 Attacks by Settlers in the West Bank over Five Days

Settler groups in the West Bank carried out 109 attacks during the past five days, indicating a rise in the frequency of attacks targeting extensive areas and affecting citizens and their properties.

The peak of these attacks occurred between March 21 and 23, where several governorates witnessed simultaneous acts of vandalism targeting roads and properties, amidst a state of tension in villages and towns.

Nablus Governorate topped the list of the most affected areas, with 38 incidents reported, followed by Ramallah Governorate with 23 attacks, and Hebron Governorate with 21 attacks, while the remaining incidents occurred in other areas, resulting in varying degrees of damage to property and infrastructure.

The attacks varied from burning homes and vehicles, especially in villages south of Nablus, to the destruction of agricultural sectors by uprooting olive trees and leveling lands, in addition to targeting schools and educational facilities.

The attacks also included intimidating citizens on roads by throwing stones at vehicles and closing roads, as well as direct assaults on farmers in remote areas, leading to material losses and disruption of their work.
