Colonizers Burn a Mosque in the Village of Madama South of Nablus

SadaNews - This morning, Thursday, colonizers set fire to the "Muhammad Fayyad" mosque in the town of Madama, south of Nablus, and wrote racist slogans on its walls.

Local sources confirmed that residents managed to control the fire before it completely engulfed the mosque, with damages limited to its entrance only.

The Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs warned of the systematic increase in attempts to burn mosques in the West Bank during the current month of Ramadan, noting the burning of the mosque in Madama and the writing of racist slogans and phrases on its walls, as part of an attempt to desecrate Islamic sanctities during the blessed month of Ramadan.

The Awqaf emphasized in its statement that these repeated attempts to burn mosques and their increase are merely part of a systematic plan by colonizers to control Palestinian land through undermining the safety and steadfastness of the Palestinian citizen within the West Bank, and the closure of Al-Aqsa Mosque to worshippers and those in seclusion during Ramadan is evidence of this plan.

The Awqaf greeted the Palestinian people in all their locations for their protection of their villages, mosques, towns, and cities despite the ferocity and brutality of the attacks by these extremists.
