The Emergency Response Media Committee Begins Its Work to Address the Current Situation
SadaNews - The Ministry of Interior announced that the Emergency Response Media Committee has commenced its work within the Ministry of Interior, as part of the governmental efforts aimed at managing information and enhancing communication with citizens efficiently and transparently during the current phase.
This was attended by the Minister of Interior Ziad Habbash, the General Director of Police Major General Alam Al-Saqa, the Director of the Government Communications Center Dr. Muhammad Abu Al-Rub, and the spokespersons along with several officers from the response agencies.

The ministry explained that the activation of the committee comes in implementation of the directives of the Cabinet and the guidance of the political leadership, headed by His Excellency President Mahmoud Abbas. The aim is to unify media messages and strengthen coordination among various official institutions and security agencies, ensuring the timely delivery of accurate and reliable information to citizens.
The ministry stated that the committee includes representatives from the media departments of the Ministry of Interior, internal security agencies, and the Palestinian Red Crescent. It will continuously monitor operational and media developments, analyze information, and provide the official narrative based on facts, in addition to utilizing various modern media means to ensure information reaches different segments of the Palestinian society.
The ministry emphasized the vital role of governors, emergency committees, and volunteer teams in the governorates, who continue their fieldwork around the clock to monitor citizen needs and respond to various developments, through coordination with official institutions and relevant bodies, ensuring the continuity of essential services and enhancing readiness to deal with any new developments.
The ministry also highlighted the importance of citizens committing to follow the information released by official entities and relying on credible sources, contributing to enhancing public awareness and maintaining stability and community cohesion during this phase.
