The Arab Emergency Authority Calls for Maximum Discipline and Adherence to Instructions Amid Escalating Threats
SadaNews - The Arab Emergency Authority has called on the sons and daughters of the Arab community to exhibit the highest levels of awareness, discipline, and collective responsibility given the serious escalation and worsening situation in the country, along with the grave risks posed by falling rocket fire.
The Authority emphasized in its third statement issued last night, Sunday, the necessity of complete adherence to instructions from the Home Front and relevant authorities, entering protected areas immediately upon hearing alarm sirens, and not leaving them until official instructions are provided. It warned against negligence or stepping out due to curiosity or for filming, stressing that staying in shelters contributes to saving lives and protecting against shrapnel hazards.
It also urged local authorities to promptly prepare emergency rooms, disseminate updated instructions in clear language through various media, and work to open schools, community centers, and mosques that have public shelters for those without protected spaces. The importance of mutual support among neighbors and opening private shelters to each other was also highlighted.
On the religious side, the Authority called for adherence to the Fatwa offices' statements regarding communal prayers and Taraweeh, and to take advantage of the provision to pray in homes for the sake of preserving lives, in addition to refraining from gatherings, including funerals and mourning houses.
The Authority called on Arab medical teams, especially those specialized in emergency medicine and qualified rescue and ambulance teams, to elevate their readiness to the highest level and be prepared to provide immediate assistance when needed, emphasizing that speed of response and professional discipline are crucial elements in saving lives.
It also urged the public to refrain from gathering or blocking roads during any incident, allowing rescue teams to perform their duties without obstacles, warning that any obstruction could endanger the lives of the injured.
The Authority concluded its statement with a warning against circulating rumors or sharing unverified information, calling for reliance on official sources only and to refrain from publishing any material that could lead to legal accountability.
