A Renewed Judicial Meeting Reinforces the Continuity of Palestinian-Jordanian Cooperation in Enforcing Justice

SadaNews - The Attorney General, Counselor Akram Al-Khatib, held a meeting with the Head of the Public Prosecutions in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Judge Ziad Al-Dmour, in the presence of the Attorney General of Amman, Hassan Al-Abdallat, the Head of the International Cooperation Prosecution, Jamil Sajdiah, and the Head of the Public Prosecution, Azzam Twaifsha. This meeting extends a continuous institutional path of coordination and consultation, reflecting the commitment of both prosecutions to keep the channels of joint work effective and regular, in line with the nature of their shared files and their developments.

The Attorney General began the meeting by congratulating his Jordanian counterpart on the occasion of his assumption of his duties as President of the Public Prosecutions, emphasizing that the solid professional relationship between the two institutions forms a stable pillar for continuing joint work efficiently and effectively, within a framework of mutual respect and shared legal responsibility.

The meeting addressed several fundamental issues of mutual interest, chief among them the requests for mutual judicial assistance, and ways to develop mechanisms for implementing these requests and speeding up procedures, ensuring performance effectiveness and achieving prompt justice, especially in cross-border cases.

Both parties affirmed their commitment to establishing a strategic judicial partnership based on mutual trust and professional integration, and addressing emerging criminal challenges with a unified vision and advanced cooperation tools, reflecting the depth of the historical relations between the two brotherly peoples and exemplifying an effective model of Arab judicial cooperation based on professionalism, continuity, and achievement.
