A Young Man Killed in Shooting Incident in Kafr Kanna
SadaNews - A young man was killed and others were injured today, Tuesday, in two shooting incidents in the towns of Kafr Kanna and Kafr Bara, increasing the death toll among Palestinians in the interior to 37 since the beginning of the year, including 11 this month.
This comes at a time when the Arab community in the occupied interior is witnessing daily protests against the escalation of crime and denouncing the complicity of the Israeli authorities and police. The protests began in Sakhnin with a strike, followed by other Arab towns, and then two demonstrations were organized in the city and Tel Aviv, along with a convoy of cars that started from the Arab towns heading to Jerusalem, in addition to sit-ins and protest demonstrations in various towns and intersections.
The year 2025 recorded an unprecedented number of homicides, with 252 Arabs killed, amid accusations of the Israeli police's negligence and its complicity with organized crime, and its failure to provide security and safety for Palestinians in the interior.
