34 Dead Since the Start of the Year, Including Five in 3 Days and 26 Victims During January
This crime comes at a time when the Arab community is witnessing daily protests that began with a national demonstration in Sakhnin, followed by sit-ins and demonstrations in other towns, and a national protest in Tel Aviv, with a car convoy scheduled to depart from Arab towns to Jerusalem next Sunday.
These three murders add to two other crimes committed in the town of Iblin, where Ra'uf Marisat and Mohamed Qasoom fell victim since the beginning of February, raising the death toll since the start of the year to 34 Arab citizens after the killing of 26 people during the previous month of January.
The year 2025 recorded an unprecedented toll of murder crimes, in which 252 Arabs lost their lives, amidst accusations of Israeli police negligence and complicity with organized crime, and their failure to provide security and safety for Arab citizens.
