3 Dead from the City of Tayyar: Shot at and Their Vehicle Collided with a Bus

SadaNews - Three Arab youths in their twenties from Tayyar in the southern Triangle area were killed as a result of a shooting crime that targeted their vehicle near the city on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday; this raises the number of Arab fatalities since the beginning of the year to 31 as protests continue in the Arab community condemning the escalation of crime and the complicity of Israeli authorities and police.

The deceased are: Asil Qasem, and cousins Hadi and Jibran Nasser, residents of Tayyar city.

In detail, the assailants shot at a vehicle containing three people, causing it to collide with a bus on the road.

Medical teams arrived at the crime scene, and had no choice but to declare the deaths of the three injured individuals who suffered from life-threatening injuries to their bodies.

One of the medical team members stated, "The three young men were inside the vehicle, unconscious and without pulse or breath, suffering from injuries to their bodies; we performed medical examinations, but their injuries were critical and we had no choice but to declare their deaths at the scene."

It was reported that a vehicle was found ablaze in Tayyar, and it is suspected to have been used by the perpetrators in the crime.

The Israeli police stated in a statement that the crime was committed as a result of "revenge over an ongoing dispute"; they announced the arrest of three suspects from Tayyar and referred the investigation file to the central unit "Yamar."

31 Dead Since the Beginning of the Year, Including Five in 3 Days and 26 Victims in January

This crime comes at a time when the Arab community is witnessing daily protests that began with a nationwide demonstration in Sakhnin, followed by vigils and demonstrations in other towns and a nationwide protest in Tel Aviv, while a car caravan from Arab towns to the city of Jerusalem is scheduled for next Sunday.

This triple crime adds to two other crimes committed in the town of Iblin, which claimed the lives of Ra'uf Marisat and Muhammad Qassoum since the beginning of February, raising the death toll since the start of the year to 31 Arab citizens after 26 people were killed in January.

The year 2025 recorded an unprecedented toll in murder crimes, claiming the lives of 252 Arabs, amidst accusations of Israeli police inaction and complicity with organized crime, and its failure to provide security and safety for Arab citizens.
