The Palestinian Flag Flies in the Antarctic Continent
SadaNews - In a new and remarkable Palestinian achievement, the young Palestinian scientist Dr. Rami Al-Tallouli raised the Palestinian flag in the frozen southern continent, where he is on a scientific mission as part of a multi-tasking Russian research team affiliated with the Arctic and Antarctic Research Institute.
Dr. Rami works at the Arctic and Antarctic Research Institute, specializing in climate science and climate change.
Dr. Al-Tallouli obtained his bachelor's degree in meteorology and environmental sciences from the Russian State Hydrometeorological University in St. Petersburg. He also earned a master's degree and subsequently a PhD from the same university, specializing in environmental pollution and climate change.
Moreover, Dr. Al-Tallouli has published numerous scientific research papers, specialized studies, and scientific articles in specialized scientific journals, and he has made distinguished contributions to scientific conferences and seminars on climate science, environmental pollution, and climate change.
It is worth mentioning that this trip to the frozen southern continent is his first, and it is expected to last for three months.
Furthermore, it is important to note that participating in this current scientific mission is not Dr. Al-Tallouli's first achievement; in 2010, he received the UNESCO International Award for Young Scientists for a research paper he presented on climate change and its impact on water in the Middle East.
During his polar journey, he was able to reach several Russian polar stations located in the Antarctic continent.
