Revelation of Mossad Transferring Weapons Seized from Hamas and Hezbollah to the Kurds

Translation by SadaNews - The Israeli military intelligence allowed it to be known on Thursday evening that Israel supplied armed Kurdish groups with weapons to participate in a plan to overthrow the Iranian regime.

According to the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper's website, the Mossad transported weapons that the Israeli army had seized from Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and Hezbollah to those groups. According to SadaNews translation.

The site stated that the American Central Intelligence Agency was involved in the plan to arm the Kurds.

It pointed out that U.S. President Donald Trump ultimately canceled the plan under pressure from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

The Hebrew Channel 12 mentioned that most of the combat means transferred were light weapons and anti-tank launchers.

At the end of March, the Turkish newspaper "Daily Sabah" reported that Ankara succeeded in thwarting an alleged Israeli plan to mobilize Kurdish forces as a ground force in the war against Iran.

According to a report in Turkey and several other reports, Israel, in cooperation with the United States, sought to use Kurdish organizations in Iraq and within Iran as a proxy force in a ground attack, following the first strike at the end of February.

These reports indicated that Israel attacked military targets near the Iranian-Iraqi border to facilitate the passage of Kurdish fighters.

"Daily Sabah" noted that about 500 activists left Iraq for Iran with the aim of joining the fight, but the plan was halted after Turkish intervention that included high-level communications with the leadership of the Kurdish region in Iraq.

According to the newspaper, Ankara warned the Kurdish leadership, particularly the Barzani and Talabani families, against cooperation, and clarified that it would not support the Kurds if they participated in the fighting against Iran.
