Katz: A Demilitarized Zone Will Be Established South of the Litani

SadaNews - Israeli Minister of Defense Israel Katz stated that the principles announced yesterday between Israel and the Lebanese government reflect the reality "that we have created in Lebanon."

Katz criticized opposition parties, demanding they apologize and acknowledge the "great achievement" of the ceasefire agreement and the understanding with Lebanon.

He added: "While they were attacking the government, it led steps that could lead to a political peace agreement and achieve real security for the first time in 50 years."
