Iraqji: Our Forces Are Ready to Strike Israel If It Attacks Beirut

SadaNews - On the 96th day of the American-Israeli war against Iran, political and field developments have continued at a rapid pace, with renewed nighttime confrontations between Iran and the United States in the Gulf region and the Strait of Hormuz, amid rising military tensions between the two sides.

The U.S. military announced that Iranian rocket attacks targeting sites in Bahrain, Kuwait, and other regional targets had been thwarted or failed to reach their objectives, with no significant damage reported according to initial data.

In contrast, diplomatic negotiations between Washington and Tehran have made little progress, as deep disagreements persist regarding security and regional issues, reflecting the escalating state of tension in the region.

In this context, the "Mehr" news agency quoted a source close to the Iranian negotiating team, stating that the Islamic Republic has not yet provided a response to the final proposal put forth by the United States to end the war, reflecting ongoing uncertainty regarding the future of negotiations between the two sides.

Simultaneously, the U.S. Treasury Department announced a new package of sanctions against Iran, targeting individuals and platforms for cryptocurrency exchange, a move that reflects Washington's continued policy of economic pressure despite ongoing negotiations.

On the ground, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced that a communications tower on Qeshm Island was subjected to American shelling, affirming retaliation by targeting a U.S. base and the Fifth Fleet's headquarters in the region with missiles and drones.

Conversely, U.S. Central Command denied this narrative, describing it as incorrect, affirming that its forces successfully thwarted Iranian attacks involving ballistic missiles and drones.
