Zarqa Bridge: Death of a Citizen After Being Taken to Give a Statement at a Police Station
SadaNews - The family of citizen Mohsen Jarban (50 years old), from Zarqa, and a father of seven children, announced today, Wednesday, his death just hours after he was taken to a police station in the town to provide a statement, according to family reports.
His brother, Bassam Jarban, stated that the family is unaware of the circumstances surrounding the death, explaining: "The police took my brother to the station, and after a few hours, they returned to inform us of his death."
He added that "the deceased did not suffer from chronic illnesses or known health issues," calling for "an immediate and comprehensive investigation to uncover the causes of death and the circumstances that accompanied it inside the station."
So far, the occupying police have not issued a detailed statement explaining the circumstances of the incident or the cause of death.
In contrast, there is a state of shock and anger among family members and residents of the town, amid calls for official clarifications and assurances of transparency in the investigation proceedings.
