Ramallah and Al-Bireh Forces Call for National Cohesion and Solidarity to Face Challenges
SadaNews - The national and Islamic forces of Ramallah and Al-Bireh confirmed on Saturday that amid the ongoing violations of Palestinian land and the rampant campaigns of settlers, who operate with a clear plan and full protection from the occupation army to undermine security and stability, and to implement a displacement scheme against the residents and farmers, especially in Palestinian villages and rural areas, in light of continuous incursions and daily arrest campaigns targeting dozens of citizens, in addition to the closures and collective punishments imposed by the occupying state, disregarding all international norms and conventions, and targeting the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) in its attempts to eliminate the right of return and Judaize the city of Jerusalem while separating it from its surroundings, in the face of this rampant racism of the occupation state, continuing the open genocide in the Gaza Strip and exacerbating the daily suffering of the displaced and homeless whose homes have been destroyed, the only way to confront all of this is through the unity of the Palestinian official and popular stance against the looming dangers.
The forces reiterated in a statement their emphasis on national and popular cohesion among all in a united front based on adherence to legitimate national rights and the national program based on the right of return according to UN Resolution 194, self-determination, and national independence in a fully sovereign state with Jerusalem as its capital, in response to all forms and attempts by the United States and other regional and international parties in the context of pressures to force the Palestinian people to accept them and to partition the unity of their geographical and political lands, transforming their national cause into humanitarian aid and economic illusions that the Trump administration seeks to market through what is called (the Peace Council for the Management of Gaza) or other projects aimed at entrenching the reality of occupation and apartheid. They confirmed that addressing national issues must be done through a serious and comprehensive national dialogue that prioritizes confronting the conspiracies aimed at ending the Palestinian cause.
They also affirmed that the issue of the martyrs, the wounded, and the prisoners should be within a national framework that preserves and guarantees their status and addresses the issue under the principle of not infringing upon them, considering it as rights guaranteed by law, and achieving justice for this struggling segment by preserving those rights in a way that ensures their national dignity and finding clear mechanisms to resume and continue the disbursement of entitlements without delay.
They stated: What the female and male prisoners in the occupation jails are subjected to, including daily practices of brutal torture, starvation, or deliberate medical neglect, requires expanding the popular movement demanding immediate intervention to stop these practices and forcing the occupation government to allow international investigation committees, and to permit the International Red Cross to visit the prisons and reveal the daily violations faced by the prisoners, which represent serious violations of international law that necessitate penalizing the occupation for.
