Al-Ahmad Discusses Ways to Organize the Public Transport Sector with Public Transport Union Representatives
SadaNews - Today, Minister of Transport and Communications Dr. Muhammad Al-Ahmad met with representatives of public transport unions in the provinces, in the presence of Shaheer Saad, Secretary-General of the Palestinian Trade Union Federation, and Alaa Ma'asi, Chairman of the General Union of Transport Workers, to discuss ways to organize the public transport sector.
It was agreed to form a joint committee from the ministry and the union to establish the demands and rights and to organize the affairs of the sector and its complexes, in coordination with the relevant institutions.
The minister confirmed the ministry's commitment to reorganizing various sectors and arranging their work, emphasizing the need to intensify periodic meetings to monitor the progress of work continuously.
