Continued Pursuit of Palestinian Workers: Dozens of Workers Arrested in the Occupied Interior
SadaNews - Since the beginning of the week until today, Wednesday, Israeli occupation police have arrested dozens of Palestinian workers from the West Bank, along with a number of suspects for harboring and employing them "without permits" in various areas of the occupied interior.
According to occupation police, dozens of Palestinian workers who work inside the Green Line without permits have been apprehended, alongside "three Israeli employers," in a "security operation" that targeted a construction site for a hotel on the shores of the Sea of Galilee.
From last Sunday until today, the police have arrested dozens of residents of the West Bank across the country, in addition to a large number of employers and drivers who transported workers from the West Bank.
It is worth mentioning that the occupation police are also continuing their campaigns in Arab towns in the Galilee, Triangle, Negev, and coastal cities, searching for Palestinian workers from the West Bank who have entered Israel in search of a livelihood for their families. These pursuits have turned into a daily nightmare for these workers, especially amidst the involvement of special units in the arrest operations.
